Dimensional Blends A-Lot is a breathtaking collaboration between Mikerphone Brewing of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and Dimensional Brewing Company — a triple-barrel-aged imperial stout assembled from three individually curated barrels with a combined aging depth that stretches well beyond two years per component. In the glass it pours a near-opaque jet black with a thin, mocha-toned collar that clings to the rim. The nose is arrestingly complex: layers of dark chocolate ganache, toasted oak, bourbon vanilla, dried dark fruit, and a whisper of wheat whiskey spice woven throughout. On the palate the mouthfeel is full and viscous, coating every corner with warmth at 15.5% ABV, yet the blend’s architecture keeps it surprisingly composed.
