Head retention is minimal but appropriate — a thin ring of fine tan foam clings to the glass throughout. On the nose, the aromatics are immediate and layered: sun-drenched toasted coconut leads the charge, backed by rich chocolate fudge, rye whiskey barrel char, caramel toffee, and a distant note of vanilla cream. The palate delivers on every promise the nose makes.
Mouthfeel is thick, velvety, and full-bodied, coating every surface with a lush, warming weight that belies its 14% ABV. Sweetness is well-calibrated, stopping short of cloying, while bitterness remains a quiet anchor in the background.
