The Bruery’s NWTM — short for No Work ‘Til Monday — pours an impenetrable, oily jet black with virtually no head retention, presenting like flat cola in the glass and hinting at the extraordinary density packed inside this 19.6% ABV behemoth. On the nose, waves of toasted coconut, fresh pineapple, and macadamia nut lead, underpinned by deep bourbon oak, dark roasted malt, and a seductive ribbon of vanilla-laced pastry sweetness. The palate is voluminous and full-bodied, delivering a coating, almost viscous mouthfeel with low-moderate carbonation.

Brown sugar and bourbon dominate the entry, giving way to tropical pineapple in the mid-palate alongside notes of chocolate, espresso, and soft caramel. The finish is long and warming, with dry cocoa powder, toasted nut, and subtle charred oak gradually taking over as the fruit fades. Despite its staggering strength, NWTM is disarmingly approachable — rich and indulgent without becoming cloying.
