Maillard is a monument to patience and grain. Brewed with 100% Maris Otter malt and an extended overnight boil, two full years in hand-selected bourbon barrels have coaxed extraordinary depth from this single-malt barleywine. The nose opens with Werther’s caramel candy, brûléed sugar, and soft oak, giving way to fig, raisin, and dark stone fruit. On the palate, layers of toffee, molasses, vanilla, and toasted oak unfold with velvety weight, the bourbon’s warmth integrated seamlessly into a rich, unhurried finish.
