Profil de dégustation
Jacques Selosse Les Carelles is a single-vineyard Blanc de Blancs drawn from the storied Les Carelles lieu-dit in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of Champagne’s most revered Grand Cru terroirs. Vinified with Anselme Selosse’s signature oxidative, low-intervention philosophy, it delivers extraordinary mineral precision — chalk, flint, and sea salt — interwoven with notes of toasted brioche, candied lemon zest, green apple, and white almond. The mousse is delicate and persistent, the finish endlessly complex and saline. A transcendent expression of Chardonnay and terroir-driven winemaking.
Accords avec les aliments
Pair with freshly shucked Brittany oysters or Gillardeau oysters on the half shell, whose saline brine mirrors the wine’s mineral salinity. Alternatively, serve alongside a delicate Dover sole meunière with capers and brown butter, complementing the wine’s toasty, citrus-driven complexity.
