PPR Black Label is a Pappy Van Winkle-inspired monument to barrel-aging excellence, resting in five distinct bourbon barrels before being lavished with premium vanilla beans. The pour is impossibly viscous, jet-black and motor-oil thick. Aromas of toasted oak, aged bourbon, and Madagascar vanilla rise from the glass alongside dark chocolate truffle and roasted malt. The palate delivers waves of marshmallow, toasted hazelnut, espresso, and burnt caramel, all wrapped in unmistakable boozy warmth. Layered oak tannins and vanilla custard linger through a decadent, contemplative finish that rewards patient sipping.
