Founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii on the outskirts of Kyoto, Yamazaki stands as the birthplace of Japanese single malt whisky. Its location at the confluence of three rivers in the foothills of Mount Tennozan provides a humid, microclimate ideal for maturation.
