Eunoia Batch 12 pours a near-opaque jet black, so viscous it barely moves in the glass — coconut lipids and lazy sludgy bubbles drift on the surface, with virtually no head to speak of. The nose opens with an almost equal split of toasted coconut and creamy peanut butter, both plush and immediate, beneath which lie subtle bourbon warmth, dark chocolate, and the faintest whisper of roasted grain. On the palate, the mouthfeel is dense and enveloping — closer to syrup than liquid — yet Phase Three manages to pull off a balancing act that few adjuncted barrel-aged stouts achieve.

Lightly bitter, oily coconut weaves through the mid-palate alongside roasted peanut character that builds into full peanut butter richness.
