On The Altar Gore pours a dense, opaque haze with a pillowy off-white crown. The nose erupts with juicy tropical fruit, ripe mango, and crushed pineapple, layered over fresh citrus zest and stone-fruit peach. On the palate, a soft, plush mouthfeel carries waves of hop-forward saturation, with sticky resinous dankness sneaking in beneath the fruit. Bitterness stays restrained, allowing the double dry-hop character to bloom across the finish. Classic Troon execution: hazy, decadent, and built around exceptional hop selection, with the red foil and white wax marking it as a true cellar-worthy release.

Accords avec les aliments

Pair with grilled mango-glazed jerk chicken, where the tropical hop character mirrors the fruit and tames the heat. Alternatively, try a creamy burrata salad with stone fruit, prosciutto, and basil; the soft mouthfeel and citrus notes complement the cheese while cutting through the richness.

About Troon Brewing Company

Troon Brewing Company was founded in 2012 in Hopewell, New Jersey, by husband-and-wife team Chris and Maria Henke. The brewery has built its reputation on an uncompromising commitment to traditional Belgian and mixed-fermentation brewing methods, emphasizing patience, craftsmanship, and the use of exceptional ingredients. Troon specializes in farmhouse ales, saisons, and spontaneously fermented beers, often incorporating local and foraged ingredients that reflect the terroir of their New Jersey location.

The brewery operates with a distinctly artisanal approach, brewing small batches and allowing beers to develop naturally over extended aging periods, sometimes in oak barrels. This dedication to time-intensive processes and wild fermentation has earned Troon a devoted following among craft beer enthusiasts who appreciate complexity and authenticity. The Henkes maintain a small-scale operation that prioritizes quality over quantity, with limited distribution that has only enhanced their cult status within the American craft beer community. Their farmhouse-style taproom reflects the rustic, agricultural aesthetic that informs their brewing philosophy, creating an experience that connects drinkers directly to the traditional European brewing heritage that inspires their work.
