Arthur Puncheon 2022 is a contemplative evolution of Hill Farmstead’s flagship saison, rested for many months in oak puncheons until it takes on a distinctly vinous character. The nose unfurls with stone fruit, lemon zest and freshly cut hay, leading into a palate where Chardonnay-like oak meets gentle farmhouse funk. Soft acidity carries notes of white wine, chalky minerality and pithy citrus, while the puncheon imparts a rounded, savory depth. Naturally carbonated and unfiltered, it finishes dry and elegant, with lingering oak, orchard fruit and the quiet rusticity of well-tended farmhouse yeast.
