Terroir et raisins
The Grand Cru Heritage of Champagne
Dom Pérignon sources exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards. For Pinot Noir: Hautvillers, Aÿ, Bouzy, and Verzenay. For Chardonnay: Cramant, Avize, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
These chalk-rich soils provide exceptional drainage and mineral complexity. The northern climate ensures slow ripening — essential for tension and longevity.

Vinification
Assemblage as Creative Act
The 2009 vintage was selected from seventeen Grand Cru villages. Fermentation took place entirely in stainless steel. This preserves the purity and precision of fruit expression.
The wine aged on its lees for a minimum of eight years. This extended aging develops remarkable complexity and texture. Dosage is kept discreet at 5–6 g/L — letting the natural acidity speak for itself.
The Luminous edition features an LED light embedded in the base. When activated, it illuminates the wine from within. Champagne as theatre.
The Vintage
2009 — A Radiant, Solar Expression
The 2009 vintage is one of the finest of the modern era. A warm, sunny season produced ripe, expressive fruit — while maintaining classic freshness.
Dom Pérignon 2009 is generous and deep. It shows immediate accessibility without losing the house’s signature precision. The result: luminous fruit, creamy texture, and surprising energy.
Notes de dégustation
Opulent Yet Precise
The nose opens with white peach, apricot, and citrus blossom. Underneath: brioche, toasted almond, and subtle spice.
On the palate, the magnum format delivers exceptional freshness. A creamy mousse carries ripe orchard fruits, honey, and candied citrus peel. A saline minerality and bright acidity provide structure.
The finish is long and harmonious. Hazelnut and white flowers linger. This is Dom Pérignon at its most generous — and most precise.
