Oak tannins provide structure alongside notes of toasted almond and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with lingering bourbon character, baking spices, and a pleasant tannic grip that balances the beer’s considerable alcoholic strength.

Über Revolution Brewing

Revolution Brewing wurde 2010 als Brauerei an der Milwaukee Avenue in Chicagos Stadtteil Logan Square eröffnet und etablierte sich schnell als ein Eckpfeiler der Renaissance des Craft-Biers in der Stadt. Gegründet von Josh Deth, dessen Leidenschaft für das Bierbrauen während seines Studiums an der University of Michigan bei Besuchen in der Bell's Brewery entfacht wurde, vereinte die Brauerei von Anfang an große Talente. Deth rekrutierte Jim Cibak, einen angesehenen Braumeister mit Erfahrung bei namhaften Unternehmen wie Three Floyds Brewing, den er während seiner Zeit bei der Goose Island Brewery kennengelernt hatte. Das Unternehmen expandierte schnell und eröffnete 2012 eine eigene Produktionsstätte mit Abfüllanlagen im nahe gelegenen Avondale-Viertel. Revolution Brewing erhielt Anerkennung bei den renommiertesten Wettbewerben der Branche, darunter das Great American Beer Festival und der World Beer Cup, und festigte so seinen Ruf über Chicago hinaus. Die Brauerei erlangte zusätzliche kulturelle Bekanntheit, als sie 2013 als Drehort für die romantische Komödie "Drinking Buddies" mit Olivia Wilde und Jake Johnson in den Hauptrollen als Brauereiangestellte diente und damit die authentische Brauereilandschaft von Revolution einem breiteren Publikum bekannt machte.
