The grapes come from almost 80-year-old vineyards located on soil rich in clay and limestone, they ferment in steel tanks, and then refine for about two years in non-first passage barriques. Finally bottle
It opens with floral hints of violet and very ripe dark fruits, but also cedar and memories of black olives, stony with returns of graphite and dark spicy notes
Full and enveloping, with an elegant body, the tannin is velvety and the finish is long and enjoyable

L’Eglise Clinet produit chaque année 1500 caisses au grand maximum d’un vin fin et racé, qui atteint sa pleine maturité entre cinq et quinze ans. A noter, le domaine effectue une sélection drastique, n’hésitant pas à déclasser une part importante de sa récolte dans son second vin, La Petite Eglise, également recherché.
