Anchorage Brewing Company was founded in 2010 by Gabe Fletcher in Anchorage, Alaska. After 13 years as head brewer at Midnight Sun Brewing, Gabe launched his own vision: a brewery where every beer is fermented and aged in oak, and where Brettanomyces plays a starring role. Operating from the Last Frontier, Anchorage produces some of the most complex and sought-after barrel-fermented ales in America — Belgian-inspired Saisons, barrel-aged Imperial Stouts and sour wild ales of extraordinary depth. Gabe personally crafted the brewery’s reclaimed-wood interior and has painted many of his own labels, reflecting a meticulous, artist-brewer approach that extends to his side passion as a master bladesmith. Anchorage beers are rare outside Alaska, distributed selectively through Tavour, making each bottle a prized discovery for craft beer enthusiasts worldwide.
