Hibiki — meaning ‘resonance’ or ‘echo’ in Japanese — is Suntory’s prestige blended whisky range, masterfully crafted by chief blender Shinji Fukuyo from whiskies drawn from both the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as Chita grain whisky. Launched in 1989 to celebrate Suntory’s 90th anniversary, Hibiki quickly established itself as one of the world’s great blended whiskies — a harmonious symphony of flavours that reflects the Japanese philosophy of balance and refinement.
